Cultic Topography in the Old Testament
The BTJ has produced this map according to the witness of Old Testament attestations noting the locations of various altars, shrines, temples, and other sites associated with worship. Each location on this map represents one or more instances of cultic activity in the Ancient Near East (ANE) as recorded in the OT and each instance is situated within one of eight distinct periods of Israelite history.
