(1450-1400 BC) - Late Bronze Age

The Torah's record of Israel's Exodus and wilderness wanderings is replete with references to Egyptian deities and those beings worshipped in and around the land of Canaan. During this period, Israel is immediately confronted with their own false conception of divinity and further tempted to join themselves with existing native cults.
